HLA: Asia Huu Lien’s CEO raises holding to 7.9 percent
Asia Huu Lien Joint-Stock Co.’s Chief Executive Officer, Tran Tuan Nghiep, will raise his stake in the steel-pipe manufacturer to 7.9 percent.
Nghiep will start buying 500,000 shares from June 1 to increase his holding to 1.5 million shares, according to a statement on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange’s website Thursday.
The HCMC-based company expects the 2009 net income to rise to VND70 billion (US$3.9 million) as it increases steel production, according to Chief fFnancial Officer Phan Van Dung. The company suffered a net loss of VND19 billion last year.
