BPC: Explanation for business result in Q1/09

BimSon Packing Company (BPC) has explained business result in Q1/09 as follows:

* Profit before tax: VND3,336 million, increasing VND1,530 million (84.71%) compared to that in Q4/08.

Reason: In Q1/09, oil price tumbled deeply due to global crisis, input material price of the company was rapidly down. Thus, cost of goods sold was low and profit increased.
