SVC: Explanation for difference in operating result after auditing

Saigon General Service Corporation made 2008 operating result and after auditing Gross sales of merchandise and services decreased by VND 90,348,442,823;  the profit before tax decreased by VND 5,110,034,624. The company explained as follows:

1. Gross sales of merchandise and services decreased due to excluding internal sales of affiliated companies:

- SaigonFord Company decreased VND 89,910,389,935 due to excluding sales to Can Tho branch.

- Star Saigon Company decreased VND 163,844,146 due to excluding sales to its affiliated company - Saigon Vien Dong Company.

2. The profit before tax decreased due to financial provision and decrease of income from associated companies:

- SAVICO Hanoi: VND 3,571,524,244

- TOYOTA East Saigon: VND 1,352,988,936
