BVS: Results of Annual General Meeting of Shareholders 2009

Bao Viet Securities Company has disclosed the results of its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders held on 18/04/2009. The following resolutions were approved:

1. Operating result of 2008:

- Revenue: VND 213,792,664,172            (68.1% of plan)

- Total expense: VND 665,501,208,630    (427.2% of plan)

- Profit before tax: - VND 451,708,544,458

- Income tax payable: VND 692,712,423

- Profit after tax: - VND 452,401,256,881

2. Plan in 2009:

- Revenue: VND 160,000,000,000

- Profit before tax: VND 19,500,000,000

3. Profit distribution plan 2009:

- in 2008, company did not make dividend payment because operating result of 2008 was negative VND 452,401,256,881

- By 2009, accumulated earnings of the company is negative VND296,711,441,947. Profits of 2009 and following years will be used to cover this loss.

4. Report of Supervisory Board 2008

5. Selecting auditor: Ernst and Young Vietnam Company Ltd. will be auditor of the company in 2009

6. Report of ESOP programe; increase Charter Capital from VND450,000,000,000 to VND 451,500,000,000 and changes chapter 13.1; 13.2 of the company’s charter.

7. Listed 150,000 new shares issued in 2008
