Seminar discusses market prospects of agricultural sector
A seminar to discuss market prospects for the agricultural sector in Vietnam will be held in HCM City in late March, according to the Vietnam Chamber of Industry and Trade (VCCI).
The seminar will be of great significance for the seafood processing industry in the Mekong River Delta.
The seminar will be an ideal place for information exchange between the business community and the world’s leading experts specializing in market research and analysis on the subject of policies as well as market prospects for the agricultural sector.
According to economists, Vietnam’s agricultural sector in particular has encountered difficulties in market forecast and management work after joining the World Trade Organisation. It is necessary for the sector to overcome these difficulties to ensure the growth of agricultural production and socio-economic stability.
The seminar is co-organised by the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO), the Institute of Policy & Strategy for Agriculture and Rural Development (IPSARD) under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the VCCI.
