Disbursement of Interest rate support program reaches VND 178,722 billion by March 26
The disbursement of interest rate support program by March 26 is as follows:
According to the express reports of credit institutions, the disbursement amount of the interest rate support program of the whole banking industry by March 26, 2009 reached around VND 178,722 billion (an increase by 17.65% in comparison with the previous week). Specifically, the group of state-owned commercial banks and the Central People’s Credit Fund have disbursed VND 133,602 billion (an increase by 15.51%); and the group of joint-stock commercial banks, and the group of joint-venture banks, foreign banks branches and wholly-owned foreign banks have allocated about VND 37,265 billion (an increase by 17.44%), and VND 7,559 billion (an increase by 67.49%) for this program, respectively. Financial companies – the new participators of the program since this week, have lent VND 296 billion.
The disbursement classified by borrowers is as follows: the group of state-owned enterprises got VND 65,686 billion (about 36% out of the total disbursement), non-state owned enterprises (including liability limited companies, joint-stock companies, private enterprises, foreign invested companies…) received VND 107,172 billion (about 60% out of the total disbursement); the rest borowers accounted for 4%, namely, co-operatives borrowed VND 651 billion and households and individuals got VND 4,968 billion and others recieved VND 245 billion from the program.
