Graduate program for SBV staff opens in Hanoi
The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) in coordination with the Australian National University (ANU) held a ceremony in Hanoi on March 23 to commence a graduate program in International and Development Economics (IDEC) for 16 SBV staffs. The ceremony was attended by SBV Deputy Governor Nguyen Toan Thang, the Principal of the Banking Training School, and representatives of ANU and the National Economic University.
In his speech, Deputy Governor Nguyen Toan Thang spoke highly of active coordination between SBV’s entities and ANU in commencing the graduate program as planned. The Deputy Governor called upon the trainees to make their best efforts to study hard in Vietnam and enrich their English to be qualified for the second term in Australia. Additionally, the Deputy Governor instructed SBV’s entities to do their best to facilitate the program, aimed at the best training quality as possible.
This graduate program is part of the plan to train the core staff and experts of high quality for the future development of SBV and opens up the prospect of cooperation between SBV and ANU in the coming time.
