TRC: Business result in Q4/2008

Tay Ninh Rubber Company (TANIRUCO) has informed of business result in Q4/2008 as follows:

* Profit in Q3/08: VND80,095,987,274

* Profit in Q4/08: VND54,881,943,137

-> Decrease: VND25,214,044,137, equivalent to 31.5%

Reason:

Selling price significantly increased in Q4/08 due to the world economic crisis and a rapid increase of rubber price at the end of 2008:

* Average selling price in Q3/08: VND50,583,000/tons

* Average selling price in Q4/08: VND30,080,000/tons

-> Decrease: VND20,503,000, equivalent to 40.5%
