PetroVietnam unit profit jumps 63 percent
Petroleum Technical Services Corp., the third-biggest company listed on the Hanoi Securities Trading Center, said Wednesday its 2008 net profit increased 63 percent to VND521 billion (US$29.8 million).
Sales rose almost 50 percent to VND8.6 trillion, the Ho Chi Minh City-based company said in a statement on its website.
Shares of the company, a unit of state-owned Vietnam Oil & Gas Group, or PetroVietnam, were unchanged Wednesday at VND26,800.
