Vietnamese Securities firm to tap Korean expertise
Viet Capital Securities Co. has signed an agreement with Tong Yang – HPT High Tech Joint Venture Co. to install and maintain software products to support its securities trading business, the Vietnam Economic Times reported Wednesday.
The two sides will deploy T-BOS, a back-office system, T-PRO, a home trading systems for traders with high volumes, and T-WEB for clients with smaller volumes. Vinacapital expects to put the system into operation in April. T-PRO helps investors and fund managers have access to technical charts connected directly to the stock exchanges in HCM City and Hanoi to receive real-time trading and market information. The system will also help investors place orders overnight after the market closes. T-BOS can handle more than one million transactions and 10 million queries and orders a day.
T-WEB, with similar content to T-PRO but using web-based technologies, provides an additional online trading system. Tong Yang - HPT High Tech Co. is a joint venture between Tong Yang of South Korea and the local HPT Corporation.
