SBV issues license for Bao Viet Bank
The Bao Viet Joint-Stock Commercial Bank (BVB) got License No. 328/GP-NHNN issued by the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) on December 11, 2008 to commence its establishment and operations with the charter capital of VND 1,500 billion.
Under this License, the BVB is allowed to operate in Hanoi and other locations permitted by the SBV for the maximum duration of 99 years with the name in short as Bao Viet Bank. It is permitted to conduct such operations as capital mobilization, credit activities, payment and treasury services and other operations stipulated in the license.
The BVB is headquartered in Hanoi with its customers as foreign and domestic entities and individuals in line with the Vietnamese law.
The founding shareholders of the Bao Viet Bank are the BaoViet Finance-Insurance Group, the Vietnam Dairy Products Joint-Stock Company, and the CMC Corporation.
