ALT: Record Date for Bonus Stock
ALTA Company has supplemented the purpose of using the shareholder list on December 15th 2008 (according to Announcement 799/TB-SGDHCM dated November 28th 2008) with an issue of bonus shares as follows:
- Stock symbol : ALT
- Ex-right date : December 11th, 2008
- Record date : December 15th, 2008
- Purpose : to issue bonus shares
- Issuing volume : 938,780 shares
- Exercise ratio : 4:1 (The one who owns 4 shares at the record date will receive 1 new bonus share.) The volume will be rounded down. The company will buy the fractional parts at the price of VND 10,000 to make the treasury stock.
- The shareholders who are currently restricted to transfer their shares can receive bonus shares.
- The bonus shares are transferable.
For example, at the record date, shareholder Nguyen Van A currently owns 2,530 shares, the calculation is as follows:
* The number of shares distributed in theory: 2,530 x 1 : 4 = 632.5 shares
* The number of shares in practice: 630 shares
* The number of shares bought back by the company: 2.5 shares x 10,000vnd = 25,000vnd
Trading date : expected on December 30th, 2008
Place & procedure of payment:
+ Shareholders whose shares have been deposited: at the securities firms where the shares have been deposited.
+ Shareholders whose shares have not been deposited: at the Accounting Department of ALTA Company. Address: Lot II-3, Group II, Street 11 & Street 8, Tan Binh Industrial Park, Tay Thanh Ward, Tan Phu District, Hochiminh City.
Vietnam Securities Depository _ HCMC Branch will temporarily suspend the depository activities for ALT on December 12th, 15th & 16th, 2008.
