Vietnamese tra and basa catfish praised in Spain
Vietnam’s tra and basa catfish are becoming an “up-to-date” food, said a Spanish newspaper on the occasion of the 10 th international fair on frozen seafood products held in Vigo City (Spain).
The two kinds of fish, which are filleted and have no fishy smell, are the food “for the future,” the El Pais newspaper said.
They will become one of the most popular frozen products in Spain in coming years, the paper quoted experts as saying.
The fair, which took place from October 7-10, drew the participation of 646 businesses from 40 countries, including Vietnam.
