Software and games festival opens in HCM City
The annual International Software and Games Festival (ISGAF) 2008 opened in Ho Chi Minh City on October 17 by the Vietnam Software Association (VINASA) and the Vietnam Game and Digital Content Business Club (VGB).
The festival, which aims to showcase the Vietnam digital industry’s new achievements and foreign latest equipment, software and games, is participated by 20 Vietnamese businesses and 40 business firms from Japan , the Republic of Korea , China and Thailand .
This year’s event focused on the Vietnam Game Show which attracted thousands of game players and this is the first time a VietGames Tournament is officially held in Vietnam .
Apart from commercial activities, games businesses will jointly raise funds for poor children.
