O&M wins Vietnam Airlines ad deal

Flag carrier Vietnam Airlines has signed Ogilvy & Mather (O&M) to run a new advertising campaign from next year, the UK-based advertising agency said.

O&M Vietnam Managing Director Katryna Mojica said Vietnam Airlines’ new advertising campaign would include print, television, radio advertising and web banner ads.

Vietnam Airlines CEO Pham Ngoc Minh has said upgrading the airline’s fleet was one of the key tasks for the company as it seeks to attract more customers on national and international routes.

The carrier expects to expand its fleet to 104 by 2015 and to 150 by 2020, adding domestic and international routes so its network includes destinations in the Asia Pacific region, Europe, North America and Australia.
