Golden Cup awards for Prestigious Securities Trademarks

The first ceremony to grant Golden Cup awards for Prestigious Securities Trademarks and Vietnam’s Leading Joint Stock Companies will be held on October 19, according to Nguyen Thanh Ky, General Secretary of the Vietnam Securities Business Association.

Among 300 businesses, some listed on the stock market, some not, the organizing board has chosen 141 businesses, which have made important contributions to the development of the general stock market, to be delivered Golden Cup awards.

The results were based on their profit indicators in fiscal year 2007. The selected businesses had a total revenue of nearly VND150,000 billion.

The Golden Cup is co-organised by the Vietnam Securities Business Association, Securities magazine, the Credit Information Centre (CIC) part of the Credit Department of the State Bank of Vietnam, Vietnam Industrial and Commercial Securities JSC and Thang Long Information-Culture JSC.

From now, the selection, which will be carried out annually, aims to honour prestigious securities trademarks and dynamically develop the stock market.
