Trading volume on southern bourse hit all time high
The VN-Index continued to witness an increase today with trading volume hitting all time high of 39.6 million worth over VND 1.4 trillion.
Of the figure, 38.55 million units were traded via order matching method worth VND 1.39 billion, up five times against the figures of previous session, 7.6 million units and VND 293 billion.
The VN-Index added 6.01 more points to end up at 465.87. This has been the third consecutive gain of the index.
Of the total 164 listed stocks on the bourse, 61 were gainers and 81 others were losers while 22 remaining stocks stayed unchanged.
The HASTC-Index of the northern bourse also saw its third gain in a row, up 1.45% or 2.18 points to finish at 152.62. Total market trading volume was also high, with nearly 20 million units matched for VND 685 billion.
There were 76 gainers against 66 losers. Three others reported no trade and five stocks stayed still.
