SGC: The record date for issuing bonus shares
HOSE announces the record date for issuing bonus shares as follows:
* Name of the listed firm: Sagiang Import-Export Corporation (SAGIMEXCO DONG THAP)
* Stock symbol: SGC
* Stock type: Common stock
* Par value: VND10,000
* Ex-right date: 22/09/2008
* Record date: 24/09/2008
* Purposes:
1. Issuance of bonus shares to existing shareholders:
- Expected issuing volume: 1,165,267 shares
- Exercise ratio: 4:1 (on the record date, a shareholder who owns 4 shares will receive 1 bonus share). The number of bonus shares is rounded in unit. The fractional parts are paid in cash at par value.
For example: On the record date, shareholder A who owns 110 shares will receive 110:4 = 27.5 shares. After being rounded in unit, he actually receives 27 shares and the amount of 0.5 x VND10,000/share = VND5,000.
- The right of receiving bonus shares is not transferable. Bonus shares issued to existing shareholders are not limited to transfer.
- Expected time of trading and payment: October 17th 2008.
2. Issuance of bonus shares to the BOD, Supervisory Board and Management Board:
- Expected issuing volume: 130,200 shares
- The number of bonus shares is transferred after 6 months.
- Implementation place:
* Shareholders whose shares have been deposited: at the securities firms where shares have been deposited.
* Shareholders whose shares have not been deposited: at SAGIMEXCO DONG THAP
Viet Nam Securities Depository – Hochiminh Branch will temporarily suspend the depository activities for SGC on September 23th, 24th & 25th 2008.
