Optical cable factory to be built in Binh Duong
Ultrapure Core company (UPC) of Israel will build a 150 million USD factory to produce optical cable in the My Phuoc industrial zone, southern Binh Phuoc province.
The project is part of a contract signed between UPC and the Viet Optical Fibre Ltd. Co. (VFO) on Sept. 4 on the transfer the optical cable production technology to Vietnam .
The factory, covering 10 ha will be the first factory to produce optical cable from silicate and pure gas in Vietnam for both the domestic market and export.
