ITA: The record date for the shareholder list
HOSE announces the record date for the shareholder list as follows:
Name of the listed firm: Tan Tao Investment Industry Corporation (ITACO)
Stock symbol: ITA
Stock type: Common stock
Par value: VND10,000
Ex-right date: October 1st 2008
Record date: October 3rd 2008
Purposes:
1. The second dividend payment in stock for 2007:
* Expected issuing volume: 17,249,960 shares
* Exercise ratio: 15%/par value (on the record date, a shareholder who owns 100 rights will receive 15 new shares).
* The number of additionally-issued shares is rounded in unit. The fractional parts (if any) will be bought back for treasury stock at the price of par value.
* For example: on the record date, shareholder Nguyen Van A who owns 50 shares will receive (50 *15)/100 = 7.5 shares. After being rounded in unit, he actually receives 7 shares and the amount of 10,000 * 0.5 = VND5,000
* The right of receiving shares is not transferable. The additionally-issued shares are not limited to transfer.
* Payment date of the fractional parts: October 20th 2008.
* Expected trading date: October 30th 2008
* Implementation place:
- Shareholders whose shares have been deposited: at the securities firms where shares have been deposited.
- Shareholders whose shares have not been deposited: head office of ITACO.
2. Doing a ballot for ratio of dividend payment in stock 2008:
+ Time of a ballot: from October 10th 2008 to October 24th 2008.
Viet Nam Securities Depository – Hochiminh Branch will temporarily suspend the depository activities for ITA on October 2nd, 3rd & 6th 2008.
