HCM City to host International Travel Expo 2008

The International Travel Expo 2008 (ITE HCMC) will be held in Ho Chi Minh City from September 12-14 on the theme of “Mesmerising Charms of Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam-Three Countries One Destination”.

Apart from Cambodia, Laos and the host country Vietnam, the event also draws nearly 300 tourism businesses from Australia, China, Indonesia, the Republic of Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Qatar and Malaysia.

A series of activities to promote tourism will take place, including Asia-Europe cooperation forum with the participation of delegates from 43 countries and territories, a seminar on discovering tours of ethnic minorities inhabited areas in Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam, and a workshop on tourism investment and development in Vietnam.
