Company starts 100 million USD residence project
The real estate developer House Vietnam Joint Stock Company recently broke ground on its resort-style ‘The Boat Club Residences’ in the city’s District 9.
Located on 14.5 ha of land bordered by the Tac River and Mon Canal, the 1.6 trillion VND (97 million USD) project will develop 96 villas, 39 street houses and seven apartment buildings, at a construction rate of 23 percent.
Chairman Tran Van Thanh said other facilities will include offices and shops, a boat wharf, a theatre, swimming pools, international schools and kindergartens and tennis courts.
Six leading Singaporean companies are involved in the project: APC for project management and Surbana, ADDP, BON, TYLIN and ICN for design.
The project’s completion in 2012 will coincide with the commencement of operations of the nearby Long Thanh-Dong Nai-Dau Giay Expressway to facilitate traffic to Binh Duong, Bien Hoa, Nhon Trach and Vung Tau.
