PVI grosses VND 2 trillion in revenue

The PetroVietnam Insurance Joint Stock Corporation (PVI) has posted a total revenue of VND 2 trillion so far this year, the highest ever.

This has proved the rapid growth and business efficiency of the corporation in the first eight months of this year.

Despite difficulties caused by high inflation and changes in the monetary and financial markets in the early months of the year, PVI has managed to achieve its production and business targets, leading the non-life insurance market in certain fields.

Specifically, the company has collected VND 217 billion from construction and installation insurance, VND 326 billion from oil and gas insurance, VND 193 billion from ship insurance.

The company expects to gross VND 2.6 trillion in revenue in 2008, with a profit of VND 330 billion.
