VietinBank gets int’l quality management status
The Vietnam Bank for Industry and Trade (VietinBank) on July 31 received an ISO 9001-2000 certificate for its quality management system.
VietinBank chairman Pham Huy Hung said the certificate reflects the bank’s commitment to provide clients with quality products and services.
The bank pledged to expand the quality management system under ISO 9001-2000 standards to the entire network, and continue to improve it in order to meet requirements of all clients, he said.
Established in 1988, VietinBank has become one of Vietnam’s largest banks with branches scattered in 56 out of the country’s 64 provinces and cities.
