SDN: Dividend Payment
Dong Nai Paint Corporation (DONAPACO) has announced the record date to pay dividend as follows:
- Stock symbol: SDN
- Stock type: common stock
- Par value: VND10,000
- Ex-right date: August 14th, 2008
- Record date: August 18th, 2008
- Purpose:
1. To pay dividend for the year 2007:
- Estimated issue volume: 209,760 shares
- Apportion ratio: 1:1
- Exercise ratio: 100: 18.4
(The one who owns 100 shares at the record date will receive 18.4 new shares as dividend. The volume will be rounded down. The fractional part will be paid in cash at VND10,000 per share.)
For example: At the record date, shareholder Nguyen Van A currently owns 2010 shares, the calculation as follows:
The number of shares distributed in theory: 2010 shares × 18.4% = 369.84 shares
The number of shares in practice: 369 shares
The number of shares paid in cash: 0.84 share x 10,000vnd = 8,400vnd.
- The right to receive dividend shares is not transferable. However, the dividend in stock is transferable.
- Estimated trading date: September 15th, 2008
2. To pay in advance dividend for the first 6 months of 2008:
- Pay-out ratio: 8%/par value (VND800 / share)
- Payment date: September 08th, 2008
3. Place & procedure of payment:
- Shareholders whose shares have been deposited: at the securities firms where the shares have been deposited.
- Shareholders whose shares have not been deposited: at DONAPACO.
Vietnam Securities Depository _ HCMC Branch will temporarily suspend the depository activities for SDN on August 15th,18th & 19th, 2008.
