Outstanding enterprises honoured
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MoCST)held a ceremony in Hanoi on August 9 to present the Gold Cup to 63 enterprises in recognition of their efforts to promote business culture.
The MoCST also presented the “Successful Entrepreneur” Award to 49 other businessmen.
Addressing the awards ceremony, MoCST Deputy Minister Tran Chien Thang said that business culture plays an important role in building the image and bringing success to enterprises. Therefore, he called on enterprises to pay due attention to promoting the cultural identity in their activities.
Building a cultural environment at each enterprise has become a goal in modern society. One of the criteria for assessing the development of an enterprise is not only based on its turnover and profit but also on its friendly working environment. Therefore, it is very important to create a sustainable cultural environment, which will offer the opportunity for enterprises to develop their own trademark and cultural identity, said Mr Thang.
Among prize winners were Mai Linh Joint Stock Corporation, Pha Lai Thermal Power Plant Joint Stock Company, Khanh Vinh Salt Company, Sai Gon Plastic Package Joint Stock Company, Hoa Sen Joint Stock Company, Vietnam Bank for Foreign Trade (Dong Nai branch), Northern Urban Development Joint Stock Company, Sai Gon Beer-Wine and Beverage Company, International Construction Joint Stock Company.
