Hai Duong's export turnover 60% up
Total export turnover of the northern province of Hai Duong in the first seven months of this year has hit nearly US$300 million, up more than 60% over the same period last year.
Products with high export growth include vegetables (earning US$3.4 million from exports, up 87% year-on-year); confectionery, (US$6.4 million, up 60%), garments and textiles (US$60 million, up 50%); footwear (US$33.4 million, up 65%), electrical wire and cable (US$97.8 million, up 66%).
In its efforts to curb inflation, Hai Duong province has carried out different measures including ensuring loans for production businesses and promoting exports of key products.
