HOSE announces the record date for the list of shareholders as follows:

- Stock symbol: GMC
- Stock type: Common stock
- Par value: VND10,000
- Ex-right date: August 13th, 2008
- Record date: August 15th, 2008
- Purpose of using the list of shareholders:
To pay dividend for the first payment of 2008:
Dividend ratio: 6%/par value (VND600 / share)
Payment date: October 1st, 2008
Place & procedure of payment:
- Shareholders whose shares have been deposited: at the securities firms where the shares have been deposited.
- Shareholders whose shares have not been deposited: at GMC, 236/7 Nguyen Van Luong St., Ward 17, Go Vap Dist., Hochiminh City.
To ballot shareholders on changes in the plan of share issue in 2008:
- The document to ballot shareholders will be posted to shareholders and published on the company’s website www.garmexsaigon-gmc.com.
- Time for the ballot: from 08/26/2008 to 09/18/2008.
Vietnam Securities Depository _ HCMC Branch will temporarily suspend the depository activities for GMC on August 14th, 15th & 18th, 2008.
