ADOC e-learning digital centre launched

An ADOC-E-learning Digital Centre was officially launched on August 19 in Hanoi by the Vietnam E-commerce Association (Vecom) and the APEC Digital Opportunities Centre (ADOC).

The centre is aimed at helping the small-and-medium-sized enterprises so that they can participate in e-commerce, a new trading form, said Mr Luong Van Tu, Vecom president.

The centre will organise training courses on e-commerce for State managers in localities, leaders as well as staff of businesses as well as students who are studying in universities and colleges in the country. In 2008 and 2009, the centre has special supporting policies for female trainees.

Vietnam's leading experts on e-commerce including policy makers, lecturers at universities, leaders of e-commerce enterprises, foreign lecturers will be invited to give lectures at the centre.

Vecom initiated building this training centre with great support from ADOC, specifically Taiwan.
