TYA: Explanation for business result

TAYA VIET NAM has explained fluctuation of business result in QII/2008 and QI/2008 as follows:  

The company’s revenue in QII/2008 increases by 1.80% and Cost of goods sold also decreases slightly. These results show that operation and business activities of TAYA VIET NAM are fairly stable, especially in difficult economy with inflation on rise. Profit after tax of QII/2008, however, decreases by 79.25% due to exchange difference between Vietnam Dong and the US Dollar during the settlement for imported materials and bank loans.
