Local brewery to export beer to Japan
Dung Quat brewery in the central Quang Ngai Province Tuesday began production for 5,000 cases of Ping Light beer for export to Japan.
The brewery’s first order for Japanese customers in a joint venture with Japan’s food producer Nihonbashi is worth US$25,000 and will be fulfilled early next month.
The factory, owned by the Quang Ngai Sugar Company, expects to export an additional 100,000 cases of Ping Light beer to the country by the end of this year.
Dung Quat brewery has previously exported three kinds of beer to Thailand, Cambodia and Singapore.
