Coal exports to be subject to absolute tax
The proposal to manage coal exports via quotas and absolute tax submitted by the Finance Ministry has been approved in principle by Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Sinh Hung.
This is according to an official dispatch issued by the Governmental Office on July 14, keeping the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Justice well informed of the Deputy PM's approval.
The Deputy PM Hung assigned the Ministry of Finance to be the acting agency to co-ordinate with the Ministry of Industry and Trade and other relevant agencies to build a specific plan of implementation and submit it to the Prime Minister for consideration and approval.
