VN-Index drops below 380 point level
The VN-Index continued to drop on the first session of the week on June 9, down 5.12 points to below 380 point level, at 379.12.
Though the market total trading volume was over 3 million units worth VND 214 billion, nearly two thirds of them are bonds. Only over 900,000 shares and fund certificates were traded via order matching for merely VND 26 billion.
Of the 154 listed stocks, 135 were losers, only 12 stocks reported gains while three maintained their reference prices and four others had no trade.
A total of nine stocks listed on the southern bourse have been traded under their par value of VND 10,000 a share.
The HASTC-Index also experienced another decline of 1.32 points or 1.2% to close at 108.54. Total market volume was over 1 million units worth VND 18.5 billion.
