Taiwanese firm increases investment in Vietnam
Taiwanese Hung Nghiep Formosa Co. Ltd, located in Nhon Trach 3 industrial park in the southern province of Dong Nai, has increased its investment capital from 956 million USD to 1.116 billion USD.
This was the eighth capital increase by the firm since it began operation in 2004. Now it is biggest foreign-invested enterprise in Dong Nai.
Hung Nghiep Formosa has a textile plant, artificial thread plants, a plastic plant and a 150 MW thermal power plant in the province.
The firm plans to put into operation three more projects, including a 5,000 cu.m water treatment plant.
