Five investors apply for HCM City agricultural zone
The Hi-Tech Agricultural Zone in Ho Chi Minh City has so far received investment applications from five domestic and foreign companies.
The director of the Hi-Tech Agricultural Zone Management Board, Tran Phuoc Dung, said the businesses include the Zhen Chang Co. Ltd. from Taiwan , which will engage in producing high-grade mushrooms.
Four remaining companies have applied to grow ornamental trees, organic vegetables and different flower varieties.
The 88-ha agricultural zone has an investment of 101 billion VND. Its infrastructure works are scheduled for completion by the fourth quarter of next year.
