BankInvest to invest in local shampoo maker
The BankInvest Group of Denmark, one of the leading independent asset managers in the Nordic region, will invest 9.6 million USD in one of Vietnam’s three leading shampoo makers.
Under a strategic cooperation agreement signed in Ho Chi Minh City on June 27, the investment capital will be used to promote the International Consumer Goods Company’s familiar shampoo brands like X-men, Dr.men, Teen-X and Hatrick.
Entering Vietnam in 2006, BankInvest now owns two Private Equity New Markets (PENM) funds in Vietnam with a total of more than 300 million USD.
It has also become a strategic partner of the AAA Life Insurance Company, the European Plastics Window Company (Eurowindow), the beauty salon and cosmetic distribution group Hals, the Vietnam Fans Joint Stock Company and the Hoa Phat Group.
