HoSE's normal trading expected to be resumed on May 30
Normal trading on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange is likely to be resumed on May 30 at the earliest after the computer system problem has been fixed and tested, the HOSE has announced.
Trading on the southern bourse has been temporarily suspended since May 27. The HOSE said it would resume trading on May 29. However, after the last testing, technical specialists of HP Company and Internet Com Company found out service error of Unix operating system.
Regarding the system technique, HOSE has signed contract of warranty and maintenance with HP Company and Internet Com Company.
According to Australian and Hong Kong specialists, the technical breakdown in HOSE is the unusual error.
The halt in the southern bourse has boosted trading in the northern bourse. Ending May 29 session, more than 3 million shares were traded for VND 74 billion. The HASTC-Index closed down 0.56 points at 120.72.
