Arsenal to promote Vietnam coffee brand
Representatives of England’s Arsenal football club will arrive in Vietnam this week to promote a brand of instant coffee made by local milk producer Vinamilk, the firm’s marketing manager has said.
The two sides would announce an agreement to endorse and promote Moment Café, a brand of instant coffee produced by Vinamilk, Nguyen Tuan Anh said last week.
Arsenal footballers will appear on advertisements of Café Moment following the announcement, which would mark a marketing milestone for the producer in teaming up with the internationally renowned club.
Anh said the promotion will aid Vietnam’s leading milk producer to capture its initial target of 5 percent market share in the instant coffee industry currently dominated by rivals like Nestle and Vinacafe.
In related news, Vinamilk has recently launched a US$17-million coffee factory in southern Binh Duong Province with a production capacity of 1,500 tons of instant coffee per year.
