DQC: Plunge at the floor price
DIEN QUANG LAMP JOINT STOCK COMPANY (DQ JSC) has informed of business situation relating to plunging at the floor price in 5 consecutive trading sessions as follows:
Contract of exporting compact light to Cuban market worth USD108 million: the company had exported products with cost of USD18.76 million in 2006; USD58.787 million in 2007. The remaining cost of over USD30 million will be paid as planned. In general, the contract has been running well.
Exchange difference: exchange rate of USD/VND decreased gradually in the first months of 2008. However, it has not affected much the company, payment of orders was done in EUR.
