Both bourses continue decline

Both the Ho Chi Minh City bourse and its Ha Noi-based counterpart experienced losses during the March 3 trading session as investors rush to sell their shares.

With buying orders at one tenth of those on sale, the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange’s VN-Index slid 28.06 points to close at 635.24 points. Today’s trading volume was 11 million shares, worth nearly 600 billion VND.

At the close time of the Ha Noi bourse, the HaSTC-Index dipped by 14.02 points to finish at 214.22 points, the largest loss per session over the past year. Nearly 5 million shares worth 274 billion VND were traded.

Big losers were real estate and construction shares.
