VIP: BoD resolution
The BoD of Vietnam Petroleum Transport Joint Stock Company (VIPCO) approved a resolution at the meeting on January 24th, 2008 as follows:
The financial reports (not audited) of the year 2007 such as:
Total revenue: VND1,149,442,594,000 (114.38% compared with the plan and 129.63% compared with 2006);
Profit before tax: VND148,001,327,000 (141.43% compared with the plan and 144.01% compared with 2006)
The BoD approved the plan for 2008 and will announce it in the Annual Shareholders’ Meeting 2007 (estimated in the middle of March 2008).
Setting up an organization board of the Annual Shareholders’ Meeting 2007.
Contributing VND17.5 billion (about 35% of VP’s chartered capital) to the Petrochemical Transport VP Joint-stock Company and assigning the following persons to manage the contribution:
Mr. Ngo Quang Trung - as a member of VP’s BOD
Mr. Dang Minh Thao - as a member of VP’s BOD
Mr. Mai The Cung - as a member of VP’s Supervisory Board
Raising funds of VIPCO Commerce Co., Ltd. From VND30 billion to VND50 billion.
Dividend payment No.2/2007: 6%/par value & in cash.
Liquidating VIPCO’s head office at 37 Phan Boi Chau Street to build 25-storey VIPCO TOWER.
