Share slump stimulates purchase by investors
Blue-chips on both local stock markets massively slumped on the February 19 trading sessions, pulling down the prices of other low-valued shares.
Many blue-chips felt to lowest levels, stimulating the purchase power.
The demand increased, giving little boost to the prices of some blue-chips at the end of the trading sessions.
When the trading session closed, the VN-Index of the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange lost 5.78 points or 0.74 percent to finish at 766.79 points. Over 11 million shares changed hand at a value of 890 billion VND.
The HaSTC-Index in the Ha Noi Securities Trading Centre reduced 1.51 points or 0.56 percent to 268.19 points. Some 4.1 million shares valued 305 billion VND were traded.
