HOSE announces the record date for issuing bonus shares and holding annual shareholders’ meeting 2008 as follows:

Par value: VND10,000
Ex-right date: January 23rd 2008
Record date: January 25th 2008
Estimated date of the meeting: March 15th 2008
1. Hold annual shareholders’ meeting 2008: time and place of the meeting will be informed later.
2. Issue bonus shares:
Exercise ratio: 5:1 (on the record date shareholder who owns 5 shares will have 1 share).
The number of shares is rounded in unit. The fractional parts are left out.
For example: shareholder A who owns 203 shares will receive (203:5) = 40.6 shares. After being rounded, he actually receives 40 shares.
The right is not transferable. Shareholders whose shares are limited to transfer can receive bonus shares.
Place to exercise right:
Shareholders whose shares have been deposited: letters will be sent to addresses registered at the securities firms where shares have been deposited
Shareholders whose shares have not been deposited: at head office under book entry
Viet Nam Securities Depository – Hochiminh Branch will temporarily suspend the depository activities for SAM on January 24th , 25th & 28th 2008.
