Dai Viet Securities to install new system
Dai Viet Security Corporation will install a new trading system to better serve customers under an agreement signed on January 16 with IBM Vietnam and Capital Market Solutions (CMS).
DVSC plans to apply CMS’s securities trading solution running on IT infrastructure supplied by IBM.
IBM will also provide project management services as well as support CMS in providing their solutions to DVSC.
DVSC general director Lam Minh Chanh expects the new system will be completely operational in three months.
The Trade Anywhere solution for securities transactions combined with NOVA solutions for settlement of CMS running on System X server of IBM offers a flexible and efficient IT system, officials said.
The combination also helps clients meet the needs of diverse kinds of businesses, and follow change in the securities industry as well as the regulations of the Government and the financial sector.
”With the increasing demand from investors, we see that upgrading IT infrastructure is of vital importance. Selecting CMS’s solution together with IBM hardware means that we are committed to long-term investment in Viet Nam ,” said Chanh.
He said the new system would enable investors to place orders with the securities company and check their account online, among others conveniences.
It will also allow DVSC to link online with the HCM City Stock Exchange and Ha Noi Securities Trading Centre for placing orders without the need to maintain representatives at the exchanges. Last year, DVSC achieved a 80 billion VND profit, and the figure is expected to hit 140 billion VND this year.
