PetroVietnam turnover exceeds $13 billion
The Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) has reported revenues of VND213.4 trillion (US$13.4 billion) for last year.
Its general director Tran Ngoc Canh, announcing the results Wednesday, said it was the highest that the state-owned firm had ever achieved.
He did not reveal the company’s earnings but said it contributed VND85.1 trillion ($5.3 billion) to the budget, accounting for nearly 30 percent of it.
It would open three power plants - Ca Mau No.1 and No.2 and Nhon Trach No.1 - in March, he added.
