‘Vietnam Medi-Pharm Expo 2011’ opens in Hanoi 

The 18th Vietnam Medi-Pharm Expo 2011 featuring nearly 200 display booths of 150 local and foreign companies from 18 countries opened in Hanoi on December 6.

The expo presents the latest medical and pharmaceutical products, a wide range of medical equipment and instruments; pharmaceutical processing, manufacturing, packaging equipment and machinery; and many kinds of hi-tech laboratory equipment.

Among the participating foreign companies at the event are 12 leading enterprises led by the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Transport and Technology from Germany.

During the expo, a seminar on Vietnamese medicine and pharmacy market, a presentation on 3D and X-ray machines, and a conference on new treatments will also be conducted.

The event will run until December 9
