Airlines to increase flights to and from Vietnam

Vietnam Airlines and several Asian airlines have said they would increase the number of flights to and from Vietnam this summer.

For instance, both China Southern and Singaporean airline Tiger Airways plan to increase its flights to Hanoi to 7 per week from the current 4 and 3 flights per week respectively.

Korean Air will also increase its flights to HCMC to 14 per week and Tiger Airways, to 28.

Vietnam Airlines also increase 1 flight to Paris, 1 to Moscow, 2 to Sydney and Melbourne each, 4 to Singapore and 7 to Bangkok.

China’s Sichuan Airlines, which opened its office in Vietnam last month, also plans to provide 2 flights on both the Chongqing-Hanoi and the Jinsha-Nam Dinh-Ho Chi Minh City route.

Meanwhile, Cambodia’s Angkor Air has halved its flights to Vietnam to 7 per week.
