City hosts maritime exposition

Maritime Viet Nam 2011, the largest international maritime expo in Viet Nam, will begin on Mar. 9 at the Tan Binh Exhibition and Convention Centre.

The exhibition will feature 350 exhibitors from over 20 countries including mailand China, Germany, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, South Korea, Norway, Panama, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, the UAE, the US and the UK.

The Singaporean pavilion by the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers Singapore (SNAMES) will be its biggest ever. It will feature 30 of the best suppliers from Singapore.

China, Germany, the Netherlands, South Korea, Norway, the UK and Viet Nam will also have national pavilions.

Maritime Viet Nam 2011, jointly organised by Singapore-based IIR Exhibitions Pte Ltd and Viet Nam National Trade Fair & Advertising Company (VINEXAD) will run until March 11.
