Chinese-invested steel plant inaugurated in Thai Binh

The first phase of Shengli Vietnam Special Steel Co., Ltd was inaugurated on September 5 in Cau Nghin industrial zone, An Bai town, Quynh Phu District, Thai Binh Province.

After over two years of construction costing 53 million USD, the first phase of the plant, the largest of its kind in the northern province of Thai Binh, will be able to produce 600,000 tonnes a year.

Shengli Vietnam Special Steel Co., Ltd. is wholly owned by two Chinese companies, the Shengli (Fuzhou) Group Corporation and the Guangdong Metals and Minerals & Export Corporation.
