Trade with China surges

Bilateral trade between Cambodia and China surged more than 25 percent during the first half of 2010, Ministry of Commerce statistics obtained yesterday show.

Trade totalled US$501 million, a 25.89 percent increase on US$398 million for the same period 2009.

Cambodia imported $483 million from the People’s Republic while $17 million was shipped the other way. Exports largely composed of agricultural products.
